Free classes are offered to adults with limited English conversational skills. Three levels of instruction are available: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Subjects include grammar, conversation, reading, writing, survival skills and much more. Classes meet Monday and Thursday from 9:00 - 11:30 am at the library, during the school year. Call 746-4341 for more information and to register.

The After-School Zone happens Monday through Thursday, when school is in session, from 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. The After-School Zone is a free place for kids age 8 - 19 to drop in. It’s a place to study, play video games, have a snack, and visit with friends.

Tails-n-Tales is a program where children from grades 1 through 5 can come and read to a dog individually. Since each child gets 15 minutes alone with the dog, you will need to sign up at the Customer Service Desk.

The computer classes offered in our Computer Lab are structured to help learners build their English skills. Hands-on support and great computer software that promotes learning is provided. Tutor support is encouraged and welcomed.
